“Our blazer has lasted since year 7-10 and can’t believe how well it

“I still occasionally use the school polo shirts from my first sons days at
school in 2005.”

“You were right about the Skirts and pinafore they last and still look
like new after me passing them on 3 years ago.”

My son is in year 9 and his uniform has been excellent all the way
through, I honestly can’t fault it.

I first became aware of the ‘Favourites of Croston’ uniform shop when buying uniform for my own children. I was impressed by the quality and longevity that the uniform items gave from a parents point of view – how the items wash well and are hard wearing as well as the excellent customer service.

When appointed as the head teacher of Tarleton Holy Trinity in September 2013 it was evident that a new uniform supplier was needed – after complaints from parents about the waiting time for items to arrive from the existing supplier, and how jumpers quickly gave way at the cuffs. After comparing the price, appearance and quality of a variety of suppliers it didn’t take long to decide upon Favourites to supply THT’s uniform.

Favourites not only supplies our badged version of the uniform, but other non-badged items as well, including pump bags, shorts and the much needed name tags…trust me… as a head teacher and a parent, these are vital in children’s clothing so that sweatshirts can be returned to the right owner after being left on the school field on a on a hot summers day.

I am so impressed by the service and quality of Favourites that I have entrusted Fiona Evans, the owner of Favourites, to source and supply our two new school sports kits, our rugby kit and a versatile kit that can be used for netball, athletics etc.

The service that Fiona Evans and her team offer is fantastic. Not only do they attend many of our school functions, including fayres and ‘New to School’ Parents’ evenings, but they also provide a delivery service where purchased items are ordered (on line or over the phone) and can be dropped off at school for parents and carers to pick up…which saves a trip to Croston!

Bishop Rawstorne made the decision in 2009 to change its existing uniform, moving away from a more relaxed jumper look to a more formal and traditional uniform of blazer and tie.  As a school committed to academic excellence and the highest standards of behaviour from all, we wanted our students to match our ethos and aspirations in terms of their appearance.

To supply a uniform that would capture Bishop Rawstorne as a high-achieving school with the highest standards, was a task entrusted to Favourites of Croston, who had the responsibility of not only supplying a high-quality uniform that would be durable, but additionally to do so in a cost-effective way.  This was a challenge that Favourites met head-on and have continued to do ever since.

As a true community school, Bishop Rawstorne works best in partnership with its parents and students to produce the best possible outcomes for all. This is an ethos shared by Favourites, who are a true community resource working together with parents, students and the school to most effectively meet the needs of each individual student. The success of Favourites is built upon their outstanding level of service, approachability and flexibility.

Favourites endeavour at all times to meet the needs of the school and the needs of families. They attend our Open Evenings and Intake Evenings, allowing parents to discuss any individual needs and to see on display the products offered, which include sports kits as well as the day-to-day uniform. Favourites operate a delivery service to home or to school and can guarantee a 24-hour turn around on most items. Where alterations need to be made to items of uniform, they can provide a quick service.

The degree of service and care provided by Favourites is truly outstanding and to have such a high level of quality, delivery, after-care and affordability is something that we cannot take for granted. Fiona and her team have been trusted partners of Bishop Rawstorne for some considerable time and will continue to be so for many year to come.

We have found the out of hours service offered for very useful. Having used it twice we found it very easy and even had uniform delivered to school at our convenience for the junior school.

Mr and Mrs Burns

I have never been into such a caring and efficient shop.

The standard and quality of uniform is so good it has lasted me two years and I wash it nearly every other day. I will be passing the pinafores and Skirts down to my other daughter.
